Dear Friends and Family!

It has been such a pleasure to invest in the life of a child through OneChild. Kristi and I are on our second child and his name is Jeuri, a fourth grader in Dajabon. He lives with his mom, dad and brother. I haven’t been to see him and his family yet but I’ll have the opportunity this January and I can’t wait. This is one of the special things about the Fellowship of the Rockies’ partnership in Dajabon with OneChild. We get to see our sponsored children and even when we can’t make the trip, another church family member can pass on our greetings and take a little gift.

What is most encouraging to me about our investment is that I know the Pastor of that church personally and how much he cares for the children and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know God has His hand on him and is using him to make a difference not only in that church but in the surrounding community. Since I haven’t had the conversation with Jeuri I am unsure if he has accepted Jesus as his Savior, but I firmly believe that he will if he hasn’t yet done so.
